The Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre is a reputed exhibition and conference venue in South Korea and has been known to host important world events including the Busan Asian Games (2002) and the FIFA World Cup (2002) tournament draw. The venue is primarily though a major exhibition and conference venue and holds a number of important shows each year.Also known as BEXCO, this exhibition venue provides visitors and exhibitors with world class facilities for hosting business meetings, conferences and exhibitions in Busan, South Korea. The Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre is also a preferred venue for hosting APEC summits and other international meetings such as the International Rail Way and Logistics Fair, the International Telecommunication Union and the ICCA Annual Conference.
The facilities at BEXCO comprise a large exhibition hall suited for fairs and trade shows, a glass hall and several conference rooms. Although, BEXCO has only one exhibition hall, this convention area is the country's largest indoor exhibition hall and provides exhibitors with over 26,000 square meters of uninterrupted space. BEXCO's green glass hall is a unique structure made of double glass that works as a three dimensional space. The glass hall is the ideal place to host flower shows and art shows as it brings in the natural light from the outside. BEXCO also has over 22 conference halls, some of which can host over 2400 people at a time.
Furthermore, since BEXCO is situated close to the Haeundae Beach resort area, exhibitors can also choose to make use of this resort as a venue for meetings or gatherings. Haeundae Beach is only a ten minute drive away from the exhibition centre and is a popular tourist attraction as well. 22.5 meter high ceiling allowing the exhibition of even huge construction equipment, as well as conventions, sports and other events.
